Elementary to Advanced

Ridge International College offers a range of General English classes in Melbourne. It is recommended as the first step of learning without English. Ridge International College General English course focuses on teaching language skills required for everyday life and academic purposes ( entry pathway for RIC courses). Ridge International College English classes integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.

Pre-requisites:	There are no pre-requisites for this qualification or any of the units of competency contained within it.
Admission Requirements:	All students must be 18 years of age or over at the time of applying for admission at RIC
Course Costs:	Tuition Fee $200 per week ( contact admission team for discounts and offers) Application Fee: $200 (non-refundable) Resource Fee: $300 (non-refundable)

Course Proficiency Level and Duration:

Elementary	10 Weeks
Pre-Intermediate	10 Weeks
Intermediate	10 Weeks
Upper-Intermediate	10 Weeks
Advanced	10 Weeks

There will be a break of 2 weeks after each proficiency level total of 10 weeks.

Ridge International use a range of assessment methods to determine overall competency requirements for this unit of competency, which includes but not limited to:

Written/Oral questions
Written Assignment
Reading
Speaking and class activities
Listening activities
